Last night, Taylor Swift debuted her new Mine video in Nashville but the video of the hit song was filmed in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Why did this country star pick this New England hot spot?
In Taylor's own words:
'[I] have always been weirdly obsessed with the New England kind of look.'
And the New England kind of look looks good no matter who gives the compliments.
Our family spent every summer when I was growing up in Kennebunkport the week before Labor Day (so now). We dined on fresh lobster picked directly from a lobster pound, went swimming in the cold Atlantic (we didn't care, we were from Buffalo) and avoiding the crowds of the more popular (then) Cape Cod.
No doubt, from seeing Taylor Swift as she filmed in Kennebunkport, Maine earlier this summer for her new Mine video, the singer had a great time in this magical place I think I'll take my family to visit next year. No wonder the Tennessean's song is so popular.
